International Women’s Day is an annual observance that “celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities”.
The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) was founded by 3 Miami women in 1993. Originally named the South Florida Breast Cancer Coalition, the organization began as a nonprofit, grassroots organization dedicated to ending breast cancer through advocacy, education, and research.
Today, we continue our mission and strive to reduce rates of mortality and morbidity through education and research. We will continue to rally throughout the state ensuring all women and men have equal access to screenings and care.
By donating your clothing and household items to us, you are helping support valuable breast cancer research and education. Thank you for your support!
