Donation Pickups in Coconut Creek

Free Donation Pickups in Coconut Creek

Coconut Creek has been named one of the “Best Cities to Live in America” by Money Magazine as recently as 2010. And it is no wonder because Coconut Creek is complete with “Butterfly World” in Tradewinds Park, a Seminole Casino in the city and over 59,405 residents within the area. The residents not only love the Coconut Creek Promenade shopping plaza, they also love contributing to the community. Because the city is part of the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation’s (FBCF) service area, the locals can schedule donation pickups in Coconut Creek and donate to breast cancer research.

The locals can even donate when they go on city adventures to Tradewinds Park. The FBCF’s free pickup service, Pickups for Breast Cancer, will travel even into the park to collect donations. Or if it’s more suitable, the locals can leave their donations in a box or bag outside while they are out exploring, and the FBCF will collect donations right from their front door. Our service even provides a blank receipt to be used on tax returns for tax deductions at the end of the fiscal year. Meanwhile you and your family can gather for a picnic in one of the ten spaces for rent within the park.  Enjoy the Florida sunshine while contributing to a worthy cause- all at the same time!

However, if you purpose is more educational than relaxing, maybe you can take the whole group to the Tradewinds Educational Farm rather than the rental picnic areas. This area of the park is exclusively for guided tours and for interacting with the goats and chickens! The exciting public farm tours are offered every weekend at various times. Usually the first tour is at 11:30 a.m. and  the last tour is at 1:30 p.m. on the weekends. However, there are other times available that may be more accommodating to your schedule on the third weekend of each month. Every third weekend, more tours are offered starting at 10:30 a.m. and continuing at 11:15 a.m., noon, 1:15 p.m., 2 p.m., and finally ending at 2:45 p.m.

The butterfly capital also has the massive “Butterfly World” right in Tradewinds Park. With 5000 live butterflies, it is the largest butterfly park in the world. The children love to see all the different species of butterflies and take pictures of the beautiful colors swirling in the air. It is a tourist attraction that the locals and visitors can enjoy. Even while relishing the beautiful sights, they schedule a donation pickup in Coconut Creek for the FBCF.

The city has many characteristic things it is known for such as its butterflies, but also, it’s also known for its whimsical name. It is said that the city got its name from the from the coconut trees planted by a nearby creek. It really was a beautiful scene and one of the early developers of the area, Robert E. Bateman, named the city “Coconut Creek.” However, if you would like to explore the wonders of the city for yourselves, remember you are in a very philanthropic area that is honored to be part of the FBCF’s donation pickup service area. When you are in the butterfly capital of the world, just keep in mind that you are also in a city where you can donate unwanted items like used clothes, electronics or household décor to provide funds for breast cancer research, advocacy and education. The FBCF’s mission is to end breast cancer by ultimately finding a cure through several clinical trials funded by their research grants. That is why donation pickups in Coconut Creek are so valuable to not only the foundation, but also to humanity, in the search of putting an end to breast cancer once and for all. If you would like to schedule a donation pickup near you please contact the FBCF at 1-888-492-4483. On behalf of the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation, we thank you for your donations, Coconut Creek!
