Free Donation Pickup Service in Coral Springs, FL

Known as “the City in the Country,” Coral Springs has become a premier South Florida community, known for its abundant parks, quality schools, numerous athletic programs, attractive neighborhoods and most recently free donation pickups in Coral Springs. It was originally acquired by Henry Lyons who purchased all twenty-thousand acres to clear and drain. At first, the land was used in the growing of beans; however, after he passed in 1952, his family began the Donation Pickup Coral Springs Recogidacattle business. It grew to host up to about five thousand head of cattle. During this time, a series of hurricanes flooded much of the South Florida area. Among other reasons, Lena Lyons, relative of  Henry, decided to sell part of her land to Coral Ridge Properties, a land developer firm in Florida, in 1965. Coral Ridge Properties set out to construct a beautiful city among the natural countryside. The firm even enacted strict landscaping and signage laws in order to so.

Although still somewhat swampy, the land sold by Lena Lyons helped Coral Ridge Properties finish their vision of a successful and habitable city. Coral Ridge Properties purchased 3,860 acres for one million dollars, and the City of Coral Springs was chartered on July 10, 1963. Coral Springs was actually closed to being named “Curran Village,” “Pompano Springs,” or even “Quartermore.” Coral Springs was the optimal choice in our opinion. By 1964, the city was expected to house 50,000 residents in small neighborhoods throughout the community.

To visit a little piece of history in Coral Springs, check out the Covered Bridge spanning forty feet built around 1964. The bridge is now a Florida Heritage Site Marker.
